Review: NYX Brow Pencil and Jumbo Eye Pencil. Ulta Haul Part 2

Hello all. Today I have part 2 of my Ulta Haul. Since both of these where NYX items I decided to just lump them together in one review. I used both of these today for the first time and I am really happy with them. 

As you can see I bought the brow pencil in Medium Brown. This color has a bit of a auburn tint to it and at first I thought I might not be able to use it. I was scared it was going to look too orange. However, once I had my makeup on, I felt a lot better about it and decided it actually looks more natural then the darker brown brow powder I had been using. 

I adore this Jumbo Eye Pencil. When I put it on today I was worried it may be a little to white to look natural. I used my smudging brush to help lighten it under my eye brows and it really turned out lovely. I was so impressed that I also used it to highlight the corners of my eyes. It worked like a charm. I know it is available in 2 shades of white, I am not sure what the difference in the 2 shades are. I do highly recommend this pencil, as it can be used for so many things. It is great for defining the brow bone and making its look crisp and clean. 

I was surprised when I saw that the tip of  the NYX brow pencil. I have never seen a oblong shaped pencil before, but I have to say it really helps with dispensing an equal amount of product to the brow. It also did not take very long. I did not think to take a close up of the other end of this pencil. It has a brown top with a brow brush on it. The top looks like another lid, there is no extra surprise hidden there, but the brush does a great job as lightening and blending the brow product. So no complainants there. 

 

When I saw that this was a "Jumbo" stick, for some reason I was picturing one like the huge lip pencils. Its good sized, but I would describe it as a middle man between a regular pencil and a jumbo lip pencil. This formula is very creamy and smooth. It glides on like silk and blends quickly. I did not find it to leave any sharp harsh lines and thought it was very easy to use.

Swatches: So here is what they look like. Please excuse my freckles, or angle kisses as my Momma calls them. I have been spending a lot of time at the ball field. You can see how the white just pops, and it will define your eyes and make them appear wider and more awake. Win! You can find this at Ulta for $4.49 and it is available in 23 colors and has a 4 star rating. The brow pencil complements my skin tone well. It is available in 8 shades, so there is bound to be one to fit your needs. They are $4.99 at Ulta and have a 4 star rating as well.

Here they both are after a little bit of blending. They really both work well. I will probably buy both of these again when I run out. Unless I can find a better deal for equal quality products. I doubt that will ever happen though. 

Review: Pixel Eyeshadow, Ulta Haul Part 1

Hey everyone! As promised, today I am doing review #1 on stuff from my Ulta haul. I got my boxes Friday and was super excited to rip them open and get a look at my goodies. I want to do this review first because these items were the cheapest, and I would like for you all to be able to get a few (if possible) before they sell out. 

As most of you know, I got these babies on a sale so great, it was like I stole them. I walked away with 7 of these and it cost me less then $3.50 for all of them. Since they are singles, I focused on colors I love or that I did not have in other palettes. 

 I have to tell you guys that I am super excited and happy with these eyeshadows. They are very pigmented, blend well, and stay on all day with a primer. For the price you really cannot beat it. They retail for $3.99 each and I paid $0.49 for each one. I will be ordering the rest of them soon.

I do not usually use these types of eyeshadow applicators, but I think these are perfect for trips and quick touch ups. I will be taking a few of these with me on vacation in 3 weeks.  I love how the applicator is used as the lid to the eyeshadow pan. Its nice to know you will always have it when you need it, if you decide to carry it in your purse.  The reviews on Ulta show that this eye shadow has 4 1/2 starts. As I mentioned in my post about their sale, this is not something I usually see on Ulta. Normally I see 3 to 3 1/2 star reviews. Considering this, I decided to give them a try and I am glad I did.

$1 Primer That Will Keep You Matte All Day!

Today I have a great tip for you. Some of you may have heard of this trick before, for those of you who have not, I promise I am not crazy. Milk of magnesia is a common laxative people take for bowl discomfort. It is suspended in water and has great skin benefits.  It combats oily skin and will leave your face looking matte and shine free all day long. Seriously! With summer just on our heels in the states, I wanted to get this out there for all of you. 

Start off by heading to your local pharmacy or store to pick up a bottle of MOM, It is under $5 at most stores for a huge bottle. I suggest going to the dollar tree though, as I got mine for $1 there and it is a 12 oz bottle. A little goes along way and this bottle should last me 6+ months. Make sure you by the regular brand, not flavored. Flavored may irritate your face. If you still think I am a little Coo coo, you can check some reviews on Makeup Alley, you will have to sign up for an account first. There are hundreds of reviews with people swearing by this.

I have been doing this for weeks now. I have noticed that it keeps my makeup on all day, with no melting. I have also noticed a decrease in the amount of breakouts I usually see. If you are looking for MATTE, then here is your answer. I promise you will be matte all day. I recently wore my makeup for 12 hours and had to do no touch-ups. 

When I apply this I shake the bottle and put a very small amount in the cup that comes with it and apply it onto my face with a foundation brush (After applying moisturizer). You can apply this to just your T zone or any areas where you get oily. Then I rub it in until you cannot see it any more.  Allow it to dry. I usually do my eyebrows at this point and its dry when I am done. 

If you put on too much, you will have a white chalky residue on your face. Don't worry just rub it off. It will come off easily. It will feel firm at this stage, but after you apply your foundation it will feel normal. You can apply a primer after if you want and are only doing your T zone areas. But you don't have too.  If you have very oily skin you can do 2 coats also.

When you apply your foundation start by stippling it on. This way you wont rub off the MOM. Once your face is covered with foundation, you can buff it if you want.With this tip, you will no longer have to re-powder your oily spots all day long. This will keep you Matte and shine free. :)

Now I know some of you may be wondering if this is safe for you to use. Don't  MOM is less damaging then benzoyl peroxide , hydrogen peroxide, salicylic acid and vitamin A retinoids which are common methods of the treatment of excess oil. All bodies are different and if someone is experiencing adverse effects is maybe due to a sensitivity to the magnesium. So as always, spot test before use, just to be sure you are not sensitive to magnesium! 

*Extra Tip:

You can also use MOM as a face mask for acne. Simply apply a thick layer to your face and allow to dry. Wash off in 15 minutes with cool water. 

Magnesium is a natural ingredient that comes from the earth. MOM is just a liquid suspension of it. It is very similar to clay and has ingredients that will help fight bacteria and remove oil better then clay can.  

May Glam Bag!

It's that time of the month again. I got my Ipsy Glam Bag in the mail last week and I finally got a chance to try it all out. I know I have been slacking the last few months, but I wanted to go ahead and post this one. I was beyond excited when I got my sneak peek of my bag this month. Early on I was able to get a sneak peek of 5 items and I would receive only one of them. I saw a blending brush in the list and hoped I would get it. Ipsy bags can be a fickle beast. Some months your LOVE them and others you get a few awesome products and a few so so. Occasionally I get something I can't use and I trade it for something else.  

Well when I got my sneak peek, I got more then what I hoped for. I got all the things I wanted, including the blending brush. Here is what I got:


1. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Lip Pencil: 

This thing works like a charm. It matches any lip stick color and you can use it as a liner or a lip primer. It does make my lipstick last hours longer and is comfortable. 4 stars!

2. Luxie Rose Blending Brush:

I am very impressed with this brush. It does a wonderful job of blending out my eyeshadow. Its hard to believe, but I honestly feel like it does a better job then my Sigma brush. I am in love with it and highly recommend it. 5 stars!

3. Pixi Bronzer: 

To be honest I have 5 bronzers and I really don't need another one. So I traded this one for a 24 hour waterproof gel liner. My mother also got this bronzer and I swatched it, its very pigmented and goes on really smooth. Based on the swatch I will give this 4 Stars!

4. Breakups To Makeup Mini Clutch: 

I was so excited to see this months bag. It is adorable and is my favorite bag from ipsy so far. I will be carrying this for a long time. I think its the perfect statement piece and it fits my personality well. 5 stars!

5. Briogeo Rosarco Milk:

 This is a reparative leave in conditioner. I used this on my daughter and myself today. It made brushing her hair a lot easier and it makes your hair smell amazing. I wish I could describe the smell, but I can't. It smells natural and refreshing. Not tropical or floral. However I cant see paying $20 just for these reasons when I can buy some from the dollar store for $1. I don't think the sample is big enough to see any reparative results. I used 5 pumps in my daughters hair and 3 in mine and half the sample was gone. So I can't really say if it repairs or not. :( 3 stars!

6. It Cosmetics CC+: 

I know I am going to make someone mad for saying this so I will go ahead and apologize. I have received 3 samples over the past year from It Cosmetics and I am not impressed with any of them. 
Now maybe its ipsy's fault but I have ivory skin and they always send me an orange color from It Cosmetics. I hate it, I cant use it, and the next time I meet one of the girls walking around with and orange spray on tan, I'm gonna offer them to her. I just cant do anything with it. My biggest problem with it is that even though it is orange it still does not cover any redness or the darkness under my eyes. However, the company claims that it will and it does. I even watched the video tutorial on the It Cosmetics web page as soon as I saw that I was getting it, so I could put it on correctly. Nope still an epic fail. This brand and I are just not compatible and I will not spend hard earned money to try any of it.  1 star!

Pins That Lie,Lie,Lie #1

Have you noticed all of the people out there trying out pinterest hacks? Most of then FAIL majorly. They have you sit through a whole video or tutorial to find out if it works. Well I have decided that I am going to start a blog series on here called "Pins That Lie, Lie Lie" I will be posting all the pins I have tried that are lies. I hope that you guys will enjoy this series and that I will make easier for you to avoid attempting these pins. 

The first in this series is a pin I have seen that's been going wild. So many people are posting this as a miracle and swearing by it, when its obvious, with one try this does not work. I feel like to many people are seeking to make money and fame online today, and in that they sacrifice the truth to gain more pins. Its a shame that others would create lies for this reason. So as always I am gonna give it to you straight.

I don't have a clue who thought it would be a good idea to add brown sugar to water and spray it in ones hair. As the picture above states its suppose to "Straighten Hair Without Heat". I have extremely curly hair and it takes me an hour and a half to section and straighten my hair. So while skeptical I thought I would give it a try. 

I followed the directions to a T and sprayed it on my hair. It does not make your hair straight. It makes it moldable (If that makes sense, YAY Play Dough Hair). You can brush it straight, but the moment you move and your hair moves it shifts and is molded to a different shape. So it will make our hair straight if you never move after lol. 

It made my hair feel brittle and dry, and it tangled horribly. Once it dries its a sticky tangled mess. I had to bathe right after to get them out and used extra conditioner to counteract the dryness. I do not recommend that any one ever tries out this pin.

Review: Spa Haus Shampoo and Conditioner

Hello Everyone! Its a nice sunny day here today. I hope it is where you are too! Today I have another Dollar Tree find to review. I have seen people talking about these. But until now I had never seen any at my local store. When I saw them I  grabbed 2 types so I could see what all the fuss was about.

This shampoo and conditioner is made by Spa Haus, it's a company located in Canada. Other then that, I know nothing else from this manufacture nor have I tried any of their other products. I bought the shampoo and conditioner in both Tea Tree Mint and Keratin Oil. This Shampoo and Conditioner is a dupe for OGX Brand Shampoo and Conditioner and it is $5.74 at WalMart.com

Today I used the Tea Tree Mint. I was surprised that the smell of the Tea Tree Oil was not overwhelming. I bought a bottle from my salon last year and the smell was so strong that I hated using it. It also made my head tingle to the point of almost burning. That stuff was awful. I think the mint in this shampoo and conditioner helps to even out the scent in a nice, comfortable way.

I used the Keratin Oil Shampoo and Conditioner yesterday and it is equally impressive. Especially for the small price. To me it has a very tropical flower scent to it. I think it smells divine. I have seen where people have said that it does not suds very well but I honestly did not have that problem at all. I think it worked just as well as my normal shampoo in that department.  This also left my hair silky smooth and very manageable. I did not have a hard time getting the tangles out of it, which I usually do. I think I will continue to buy these as long as they are available.

So If you see these in your local Dollar Tree, don't hesitate to give them a try. I think they are worth it. 

Maybelline Master Prime Vs. E.l.f Poreless Face Primer

Hey beauties! Today I have a Primer Showdown for you. When I was at Ulta last month I bought Maybelline's Master Prime Blur and Smooth. It was $9.99. I like it pretty well, but when I was out at old navy 2 weeks ago I picked up Elfs Poreless Face Primer, mostly because I was there, It was there, and I have been wanting to try it. It was $8. I will tell you now that walmart and elf both have it on their web site for $6, which means that Old Navy is all about the pocketing. I'm really not surprised about that. Just Saying! Now I hope you guys realize just how much I love you all, because I am going into the nitty gritty with these two and I will hold nothing back. 

I got the blur and smooth. I also got the wrong image when I made this. Sorry. 

Okay lets start the play by play!

Round 1:

You get 1 oz with the Master prime, however with Elf you only get 0.48oz. Elfs is less then 1 oz. Though the packaging is big enough to hold an ounce, probably more to be honest. So if you do the math you will see with Maybelline you are paying $5 for half an ounce and with elf you are paying $6 for even less then that. Since Elf is suppose to be a low end beauty manufacture, I am less then impressed.  Round 1 goes to Maybelline!

 Round 2:

I was super excited about elfs primer having a pump! To me that is a bit of a plus. However, I am not happy with being miss led. When you buy this, it is in a sealed plastic box. There is no testing first. I know why now. As you can see from the picture below, I have discovered a secret that I am betting elf does not want us to know. Over a 3rd of the bottle is empty. I was looking at the bottle trying to figure out why it felt so light. That's when I noticed a small hole in the bottom of the blurry plastic case. Its made to look like you get a full bottle, that's why the plastic is blurry, it makes the white plastic look like product. So I untwisted it and pulled the pumping mechanism out of the blurry plastic casing, flipped it over and discovered the truth. 

The arrow above is pointing to the very bottom of the plastic plug. It extends up the the darker ring above the arrow. Below, I actually marked it on the plastic tubing, this way you can have a clearer visual. Needless to say Round 2 also goes to Maybelline! I need a company that is not only affordable but that I can trust. 

Round 3:

This is the final round and its all about results. I have wore  Master Prime for around 3 weeks every day. It fills in the few lines I do have and does wonders on blurring my pores. I do have some bigger ones on my cheeks close to my nose and on my nose. Once I apply this you are not going to see any of them. I don't have to work on it and it stays all day. I have been to many of my daughters softball games and practices in this and even in the heat Maybelline holds up.

I wore Elfs today, I was at my daughters game from 5:30-7:00. I had not been out there for more then 30 minutes and I could literally feel my makeup sliding down my face. I looked in my purse and found a Kmart flier, I folded it up grade school style to make a fan. I had to fan my face the entire game, even with that by the time I left the game my makeup was a mess. It looked horrid! When I applied it, I still had pores showing on my nose and I could not get them covered, but it was to late to start over so I just went with it and hoped no one would notice. 

So you guessed it Round 3 also goes to Maybelline! I never thought I would say that. I usually love elf products and the savings that come along with them. I told you I would tell it to you straight and I did. I will never purchase this elf product again. I am going to wait until winter and try it again then. I am hoping that it will stay better in the colder weather. If that fails, then at least I can push down the plug and reuse the pump bottle. So my $8 will not be a total waste.

Dollar Tree Find: Milani HD Advanced Lip Color

Hello Everyone! I am excited to tell you all about my Dollar Tree find! Its not often I am this excited about what I find there. I ran in to grab some trash bags really quick and decided to go past the beauty isle and see if there was anything that would catch my eye. Sure enough on the bottom shelf almost hidden were a few tubes of Milani's HD Advanced Lip Color. 

I almost did not buy these. There was no way to verify the color the way they were packaged. The only label I could see was the ones on the bottom that states the color name and number. So I took a chance, read the labels, and bought two. I purchased Cotton Candy, because I assumed it would be a pale pink and Ignition, thinking it would be a red shade. 

Ladies, The packaging on this lip color is amazing. It does not feel cheap, its very sturdy, the lids snap on and stay on, and they just look beautiful. They are about the length of a regular mascara tube. These baby's look like I shelled out some serious cash. I think its the reason I decided to take a chance on them. I am so glad I did! The colors are beautiful too. Just as I thought a pale pink and a red shade. Oh! I almost forgot to tell you, once I opened it there was a sticker on the back of the lid that showed the shade color, you just cant see it the way it's packaged. :( 

I felt like I won the lottery. I could not wait to try them, so I put ignition on me and Cotton Candy on my daughter so we could give them a try. They are not sticky, are moisturizing, and are very pigmented. They also last for a long time, especially with a lip primer. The shade Cotton Candy is shimmery, so if that's not your thing you may not like it. The shade Ignition is not a vibrant blood red, it is a orangy red. I am happy with that because I already have a few red lipsticks. So the next time you are in your local Dollar Tree, don't forget to stop by the makeup section and see if you can snag one of these beauties. Here are the swatches:

Review: Elf Lip Exfoliator

Hello everyone! Today I am going to do a review from a product I suggested for my Sister-in-Law. When we were waiting in line for Sephora to open she told me she was hoping to get her hands on Tarte's Lip Exfoliator. So when we finally got inside we looked high and low for it. After failing to locate it we asked a sales person and they said they do not carry it. I could tell my SIL was disappointed and I told her that I Elf had one for $3, after we were done there, maybe we could go look for it. 

Now we had already made plans to head to walmart after to look for some elf products. However, when we were in line, one of the other people waiting for Sephora to open heard us discussing it and they told us that Old Navy had a huge selection of Elf products, even bigger then walmarts. Thanks to her we headed on over. I have to be honest. I was really quite impressed with the amount of Elf products at Old Navy. If you have been looking for an Elf product and can not find it try there. 

What is does:

My SIL messaged me today and said that it works amazingly. She said: 

"You should do a blog about it, My lips were totally dry and peeling like crazy. Now they are super smooth. Plus that stuff smells and tastes really good!"

As you can see my SIL is in love with it. I did not grab one yesterday as I wanted to try a few other things from their line. I will post about them soon! I will be grabbing one of these lip exfoliators the next time I get a chance! Since my SIL was so happy with it I thought I would go ahead and share with you all. Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation and Concealer Review

Hey everyone. I am so excited to share this review with you all. As I mentioned on Facebook, my family and I went out of town over the weekend. We took a trip to Charleston WV and spent the weekend there. Some of you may already know, but I am a country girl and order many of my beauty products online as I cannot find them at my local stores. 

When we went to the mall I was able to stop in Sephora. This was my first time actually in one. It was super exiting for this country girl.Now my town is moving on up, and with in the next year or so we will have a Sephora much closer and I am hoping to frequent it often. Now enough of my babbling.

I have been struggling to find a foundation that works well on my combination skin. While looking at many reviews and videos over the last month, I had my heart set on trying Kat Von D's Lock It Tattoo Foundation. So when I went in to Sephora I browsed until I found it. I know I am usually very frugal, but I just decided since I was there I would go ahead and get it. Then I decided I'll just grab the concealer too. I have also heard rave reviews about it.


A little information on each:

Why I love it:

1. Its is full coverage. I mean your not going to see a thing peaking through this foundation. I have a lot of redness on my face. Mostly patches on my cheeks and forehead, but I also have a few acne scars. You cannot see any of it through this foundation. 

2. Its Matte. I wore it all day and never had to do a single touch up. SERIOUSLY, not one. I had no shine all day. Yay!

3. Its 24 hour wear. I don't ever wear my foundation for a full 24 hours but I wore this for 16 hours and I still looked amazing at the end of the night. I was really surprised each time I looked in the mirror because of how good it still looked. 

4. It matches my skin 100%. While I was in Sephora, I swatched it on my neck and I could not even see a boarder. I asked the sales girl there if she could see it and she said no, that it blended in perfectly. I was beyond excited. I can never find an exact shade match. By the way, my shade is the lightest, 42.  There are 18 shades available. Most are pictured below.  

5. I love the packaging. This foundation bottle is gorgeous and it has a pump. This makes it so easy to apply with out a mess. 

Tips for use:

Now you are always going to find someone who says that a product is horrible and it does not do its job. There is no way around this. When I was at Sephora the sales girl explained to me that every person who has ever brought this foundation back to her for a refund was not wearing a primer. It is key to keeping this product in place. 

This foundation is thick, its the thickest I have ever used and that is the reason you need a primer. So it will not slip and appear uneven. Even though this is thick it does not sit heavy on the face. I find it very comfortable.  

I tried this foundation with both a flat head foundation brush and a blending sponge. I feel I get better results with the brush, and I would recommend using it. When applying smooth it into the skins surface in a circular motion.

Why I love it:

1. It covers my dark circles wonderfully. I was using Maybelline's age rewind dark circle corrector. It works pretty well, but I could not apply it over my foundation, because the sponge applicator would rub off my foundation underneath. I find my concealer always looks best when applied over my foundation. This is why I bought this concealer.

2. It does not crease under my eyes. Woo Hoo. I always struggle with this. I am so happy to find a foundation that does not.

3. Its very easy to spread and a little goes a long way. I only have to use a small dab under each eye.

4. Its light weight and looks natural. It does not look cakey and is smooth in appearance, like normal skin.

- there are 9 shades available I use shade 16.

Tips for use:

1. When I first tried to use this at home, only clear oil was coming out of the tube. I closed it and kneaded the tube to mix all of it back together. I believe it separated from sitting in the store.

2. I apply this with a blending sponge. I feel like I can get better coverage by using it as it can get into the inner corners of my eyes easily. If you like using a brush I think it will work fine too.

Over all I think you can tell I am very happy with my purchase. Even with the price, I am over the moon about these. I will continue to pay for them because they work so well for me. If you are searching for a new foundation or concealer you might love these too.

Until now, I do not think I have told you all what my favorite brand of mascara is. Well you may have guessed it... Yep its Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes. 

For those of you who do not know, Tarte is a high end makeup company based in the United States. The was company started in 1999 by Maureen Kelly, in her apartment. It has since grown to be one of the leading makeup companies around. The key for Tarte's success is that all of their products are made from natural ingredients.  If you are curious you can read more about their history HERE.

The wand bristles are very compact. This will give you more volume. 

I am sure you are thinking high end, high price. Well this mascara is normally $20 a tube. I think its worth every dime. It is the ONLY high end item that I consider so essential that I will happily pay the price for it. So to get to the good stuff. 

QVC is offering an amazing deal only for the month of April. You get not 1 but 3 super sized tubes of this mascara for $34.00. The best part about this deal is that you can pay in 2 installments of $17 plus Tax and Shipping. I believe mine was $19 for 2 monthly payments. You cannot beat this deal and it wont be back until next April. 

Now that we have discussed the price, lets talk about why you should give it a try if you haven't already.

1. If you have sensitive eyes, you should give Tarte a try. It is the only mascara that I can wear with out my eyes burning and stinging after a few hours. This mascara is made in Italy and infused with nourishing Olive esters. These esters condition and protect your lashes. 

2. Another reason this mascara is so awesome is that it pulls quadruple duty. It not only conditions your lashes. It also lengthens, adds volume, and curls your lashes. That's right, you don't even have to use a lash curler if you don't want to. 

3. It adds 330% lash volume with just apply 2 coats. 

4. This mascara does not flake or crumble. I love this! Its the only mascara I have used that does not transfer to under my eye. So I never have to worry about it leaving dark circles under my eyes during the day. 

5. This mascara gives you the same look as applying false lashes. I often get asked what brand of lashes I use. 

6. This is a black mascara. Its not like others that tell you its black and when you put it on its a dark palish grey color. Not Tartes, it is as black as black can be.

Review: NXY Waiting for Tonight Palette

Hey everyone! Today I am doing a review of the NXY "Waiting for Tonight Palette". This palette has been around for awhile, but I never had an opportunity to get my hands on it for a great price. 2 weeks ago that opportunity came. I received and email from Ipsy.com saying that it was a promo on their site that week. I was able to get it for $20.00 USD. 

When the Palette first came out it was $35, its is now available from nxycosmetics.com for $30. Needless to say, I purchased it quickly. I am going to go ahead and apologize for my photos. I took the pictures of the swatches at night and I had a hard time getting the lighting the way I wanted. However, I think they will do. :)

I did not think to take a picture of the whole palette. I wanted you to be able to see it open. Its a very big palette around 7 inches long by 4 inches wide and 2.65 oz.

This Palette comes with:

• 32 Eye shadows- 13 are matte.
• 3 Concealers
• 4 Eyebrow colors 
• 4 Lip shades
• 2 Blushes
• 1 Bronzer

The Eye shadows:

• Are very soft.
• They are all highly pigmented.
• These go on smoothly and easily.
• Very easy to blend.
• Have a long wear time.
• I already said it but I'll do it again. Yay for 13 matte shades. 

  
The Eyebrow colors:

• Highly pigmented.
• Can be used as additional matte shades.
• easy to apply. 

Blushes:

• Highly pigmented.
• Go on smoothly.
• Nice rosy colors.

Bronzer:

• Love this. The color is fantastic.
• A little goes a long way.
• Smooth, easy application. 

Concealers:

• Creamy.
• Provide medium coverage.
• Not my favorite, but will do in a pinch.

Lip Glosses:

• Are okay
• Very basic gloss
• Very sticky
• Will do in a pinch

Applicator Brushes:

• Nothing to write home about.
• I gave them to my daughter to play with.
• If you have your own use them.

Impressions:

First I want to start off by saying I am in love with the colors in this palette. I feel like I can use every color and that makes me very happy. I bought this palette for the eye shadow, as I am a eye shadow junkie. All the rest was just a perk.

There are a few colors that did not show up well in my swatches. I think 3, they are all very light nude shades and blended in with the skin tone on my arm. They do show up on my lids. 

I like the blush and bronzer. I do not care for the lip gloss much. I mean it shows up okay, but I am not a sticky gloss kinda gal. The concealers are also okay, they are not junk but they do not give full coverage. 

This is a neutral to warm palette, so if you are cool toned there may not be a lot in here you can wear. Over all I am very pleased and I would buy this palette again. I did not have any problems with the eye shadow being overly powdery. I really think this is a great bargain.
